Arapović: Four patients on ventilators

(Patria) - Jurica Arapović, head of the Infectious Diseases Department at the University Clinical Hospital Mostar, spoke today about the health status of those infected with coronavirus who are hospitalized in Mostar.

"We are treating eight patients positive for the infection. Tonight, we admitted a middle-aged lady from West Herzegovina Canton in a poor general condition. Currently, we have four severe patients, and all four are on ventilators," said Arapović.

Otherwise, another case of coronavirus infection has been confirmed in the Mostar area. It is a person who was in contact with an infected individual from the BHANSA cluster.

A total of 31 people were tested, five are positive. Three are in Konjic, one in Mostar, and one in Čitluk.

However, as Arapović explained, one of the samples was re-tested, resulting in three new cases in the end, with one previously confirmed case, as it was additionally tested due to certain ambiguities.
