Appeal for Help: Let's Save a Young Footballer

Muhamed Talić is an excellent student and a talented footballer for NK “Podgrmeč” who dreams of one day wearing the beloved jersey of the BiH National Team, but the beauty of childhood dreams was interrupted by illness.

Muhamed spent his childhood days carefree, mostly with a ball at his feet, but a few weeks ago he complained to his parents of stomach pain, nosebleeds, and loss of appetite.

Shortly after, the parents of this fourteen-year-old boy from the small town of Šehovci near Sanski Most were in shock when they learned that their son was suffering from leukemia.

The treatment for this serious illness is very expensive. Muhamed's unemployed parents have three other young children besides him and are not in a financial situation to cover the treatment costs. They have appealed to all good people to help with their contributions in the fundraising campaign for this boy's treatment.

Muhamed has been transferred for treatment to the Clinical Center Koševo in Sarajevo. For young Muhamed to overcome this serious illness, treatment in Germany is necessary, where a bone marrow transplant would be performed. The costs of the entire treatment amount to 220,000 euros, which the Talić family unfortunately cannot raise on their own, and the help of all good people is needed.

Citizens of Sanski Most have been tirelessly trying to raise funds for the past two weeks, but they will not be able to collect the full amount.

Let's show humanity and help Muhamed regain the sparkle in his eyes so he can return to the stadium in the city that eagerly awaits to see him smiling and happy.
