Appeal for help: Hanifa urgently needs medication costing 7,500 euros per month

(Patria) - The family of Hanifa Dubinović Imširović from Bosnia and Herzegovina has made an emotional appeal to the public seeking help to continue her treatment. After official therapies did not yield results, experts recommended the drug Capivasertib in combination with Fluvestrant injections, which unfortunately is not available in BiH.

Hanifa can obtain the medication in Germany, but its cost is as high as 7,500 euros per month. Thanks to donations so far, the family has managed to secure funds for three months of therapy, but much more is needed, as it is unknown how long she will need to use this medication.

“This is our last hope. The disease is spreading and the pain is getting stronger. We thank everyone who has helped us, without you we wouldn't have been able to start therapy. We hope you will continue to be with us,” the family stated.
