Anti-fascism is a political and ideological movement that opposes fascism in all its forms, including authoritarianism, nationalism, racism, and militarism. This movement encompasses a wide range of political views and strategies, from non-violent activism to direct action against fascist regimes, movements, and ideologies.
However, the anti-fascism as understood and accepted by the nations and peoples of the Western world is not even close to what was presented to us in Bosnia and Herzegovina (formerly in Yugoslavia) under that term.
Anti-fascism is an idea that you either live by or oppose. It is not and cannot be a political-marketing label to gain a certain socio-political status. In fact, in our region, it is mostly that, and recent history has confirmed this fact.
Because, that Yugoslav communist anti-fascism was defined in such a way that I, as a Muslim, cannot be an anti-fascist because I greet as God commanded me or live and pray in accordance with the precepts of that God. In the Yugoslav understanding of the fight against all forms of fascism, anti-fascism is possible only if supported by atheism.
We see this even today when atheism is not an essential prerequisite for social and political standing, as the remnants of that communist system continuously drag us back to a time and narrative where religiosity is opposed to anti-fascism. According to this matrix, today's Euro-communists, with their retrograde approach that there is no anti-fascism without atheism, exert constant pressure on everything that opposes them.
There is a serious discussion these days about Sarajevo's birthday. And everyone knows that Sarajevo's birthday is not April 6th, the day it was liberated from occupying fascism. And no one disputes that this date should undoubtedly remain as Sarajevo City Day; rather, the idea is for the capital city to also have a date of its founding.
However, the Euro-communists have already found a reason in the very announcement that it cannot be Sarajevo's birthday because, supposedly, the Romans founded Sarajevo, although that makes no sense. The real reason for the rebellion is the fact that it was founded by the Ottoman governor, the Muslim Isa-beg Ishaković, and the atheistic-anti-fascist crowd does not favor the historical fact that Ishaković turned a poor village into a city.
In the fight against the initiative to mark Sarajevo's birthday, religion was attacked first, specifically the greeting within that religion. Then we heard criticisms that the foundations of anti-fascism were being attacked and much more.
And the fact is that the first to enter the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina in April 1945 was the Muslim brigade. Just as it is a fact that 75 percent of the defense and liberation units were composed of the Muslim population in resistance to the dual aggression of Serbia and Croatia, orchestrated and carried out by JNA generals.
There is another fact that perhaps makes it high time for us to come to terms with Euro-communist anti-fascism based on atheism. Those anti-fascist atheists whom they taught, trained, fed, and brainwashed with Tito's anti-fascism for five decades overnight became fascists who kill, slaughter, rape, and cleanse everything in their path that does not belong to their kind.
That anti-fascism, which is celebrated here on April 6th and through the Igman March, the battles on Sutjeska and Neretva, can only be a cinematic reminder of glorious past times. But, the atheist anti-fascists leaning on brotherhood and unity who want to lecture us all today must understand that they have been defeated and finally admit defeat.
Because the Yugoslav People's Army (JNA), which at one command turned into a Serb-Chetnik armada, is the greatest proof that the atheist communists who want to lecture us today did not implement the anti-fascist idea very well, so their students suddenly became world-renowned war criminals convicted of the most heinous crimes and genocide. And Ratko Mladić was also an anti-fascist, wasn't he?
And worst of all, they also attached the epithet of anti-fascists, Yugoslav defenders... to justify their fight.
So, isn't it clear that in the framework of Yugoslav anti-fascism after 1945, many things were based on wrong foundations, and those anti-fascists who still want to impose values on us today would use that anti-fascism colored by atheism solely for personal and particular benefit.
If they were true anti-fascists, who truly live the fight against all forms of discrimination and isms, pork would not have been shoved into the beans of Kosovo and Muslim recruits from Bosnia in the JNA during its golden age, thus creating divisions between the more valuable and less valuable.
True anti-fascism lives in the sons and daughters of this country who defended Bosnia and Herzegovina for four years against communist anti-fascism. And therefore, it is high time to restore balance. Such people talk the least about anti-fascism because they lived it by defending everyone's place of worship as their own, while the students of Tito's school destroyed everything in front of them.
Comrade Titoists, your time is over. Therefore, you have no right, nor will you succeed, to defend atheism under the false banner of anti-fascism and teach us history. Because, it is clear that under the banner of your anti-fascism, you imagine the right to Islamophobia and hidden fascism. And under the same banner, they were the perpetrators of aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina!
