COPENHAGEN, (Patria) - Our best swimmer, Amina Kajtaz (1996) participated in the European Short Course Swimming Championships, held in Copenhagen, where she competed in the 50 meters butterfly, 100 meters butterfly, and 50 meters freestyle disciplines.
In the 50 meters discipline, Amina took 34th place, swimming a time of 00:27.14, which is within the B standard for the World Short Course Championships.
Amina finished the 100 meters butterfly discipline in 23rd place. The time she swam was 00:59.61. It is worth noting that this is an excellent result considering she is only 11 hundredths away from the national record, and it also makes the B standard for the World Short Course Championships.
Amina swam the 50m freestyle discipline in 00:26.12 and took 53rd place. The achieved time is only 17 hundredths slower than the national record.
