US Ambassador to BiH Maureen Cormack visited Bosanska Gradiška today, reports the Patria News Agency.
She reiterated to journalists the US position that the announced referendum in Republika Srpska on the work of the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH is both an anti-Dayton and unconstitutional step, and expressed hope that the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and the National Assembly of RS will decide to withdraw that decision.
In her statement to journalists, she emphasized that her country's position has been very clear since the moment the referendum in Republika Srpska was mentioned.
- I think it is much better to use time and energy focusing on creating new jobs for young people, on economic development, and on BiH's European path - the ambassador pointed out, reports BNTV.
