At tomorrow's session (continuation of the constituent session) of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, the assembly leadership should be elected, followed by an emergency session to adopt the Decision on Temporary Financing, writes the Patria news agency.
Proposed for the leadership are Sabahudin Delalić (SDA), as well as Sejo Bukva and Mario Vukasović (DF), as representatives from the opposition SBB and Our Party, which have members of the Serbian and Croatian communities in their ranks, were unwilling to provide their representatives.
According to Patria's information, the SDA-DF coalition, which has 17 representatives, will most likely be joined by Amel Mekić (SDP), who will soon change his party affiliation and return to the SDA, which he left several years ago.
Thus, the coalition will for now have 18 votes, i.e., a narrow majority. Who will join them subsequently will be known after negotiations with some other representatives from other parties.
Also, the SDA, which has been awarded the position of Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton, is ready to cede the position of Chairman to the DF, so that instead of Delalić, Sejo Bukva could chair the Assembly over the next four years.
