Four months after the horrific terrorist attack in the city of Peshawar, 15 ambassadors accredited to the Pakistani capital Islamabad visited the scene of the horrific massacre today, reports the Patria News Agency.
The Ambassador of BiH to Pakistan, Nedim Makarević, visited Peshawar again, after he was the first ambassador to visit the crime scene, the school, the surviving students and teachers, as well as the injured children, shortly after the crime.
Today's visit is also a result of the lobbying efforts of the BiH ambassador, as no one had visited the site of the suffering of innocent children for four months.
– His interaction with colleagues, lobbying, and appearances in national and international media regarding this was crucial for the conscience of many – said Asif Noor from the Institute for Peace and Strategic Studies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan.
On December 16 last year, 140 people were killed in a terrorist attack, most of whom were children aged 10 to 18.
