US Embassy: We are concerned about the adoption of the Declaration in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska

The US Embassy in BiH, along with other representatives of the international community, expresses deep concern regarding the Declaration adopted today in the National Assembly of RS, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

- The authority of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina was established by Annex IV, Article 6 of the Dayton Peace Agreement. This is stipulated by law and is in the best interest of this country and all its citizens.

Respect for the rule of law is necessary in all successful societies and is of key importance for the future of BiH. We expect all past and future decisions of the Constitutional Court to be respected, regardless of the nature of the decision or the issue being considered.
