They added that the US has helped almost all municipalities and cities in the RS and continues to do so.
- The US has assisted in the areas of economy, healthcare, energy, agriculture, human rights, judiciary, and the building of independent media, and you can read detailed data on the invested money in the RS here.
Among other things, they stated:
- Regarding economic development, the US, as they noted, supported the Banking Agency of the RS immediately after the war to stabilize and restore citizens' trust in the banking system.
The US government is currently supporting financial and tax policy reform and credit guarantee programs to help 'unlock' financial capital in the private sector of the RS, they added.
Regarding healthcare and security, they noted that the US has significantly assisted in demining the territory of the RS and that assistance to the healthcare sector of this entity was not lacking even during the coronavirus pandemic.
Incidentally, recently, after the US Embassy asked where the money was, Milorad Dodik asked them the same question, so this is effectively the Embassy's response to the President of Republika Srpska.
