US Embassy Gives Young Entrepreneurs a Chance

There are only a few days left until the deadline for submitting business projects for young entrepreneurs announced by the United States Embassy in BiH. The annual program for interns "Ron Brown" is intended for young people aged 18 to 25, who can propose new business programs from various fields, but the greatest support is intended for projects in the fields of energy and information technologies. The goal of these programs is, according to the Embassy, to improve entrepreneurship and self-employment among this population group.

The application must be written in English and should contain the concept of the idea on one page, and the cost proposal on the other. All candidates applying in BiH must be citizens of BiH and send their CV to [email protected]. The deadline for applications is February 28, 2014. The winners of the Program will be notified in mid-March.

Competitors will present their ideas to successful businessmen from the region who will evaluate the projects and select the two best. Then they will travel to Zagreb and compete for the regional intern program and participate in the "Future of Energy" forum on April 14 and 15.

Such projects, as emphasized by the Embassy, are a good opportunity for young people because they can win money for their projects, establish contacts with significant companies, and meet their future mentors.
