Alić on the attack on young men in Stolac: We must not allow violence to go unpunished

(Patria) - The Speaker of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Assembly, Džafer Alić, condemns the attack on four young men, footballers of Iskra Stolac, who were attacked last night by several unknown persons in the village of Masline near Stolac. After the attack, they were urgently transported to the Cantonal Hospital "Dr. Safet Mujić", where their injuries were diagnosed and they immediately received medical assistance.

The attackers carried out the attack in a planned manner, considering that they had previously followed the footballers of Iskra, and it can be said that it was an organized attack. The young men and their families should feel the support of the community, as well as concrete steps that will ensure their safety and justice. This includes a swift, thorough, and transparent investigation of the attack, as well as the identification and punishment of the perpetrators, which would send a clear message and prevent the recurrence of similar events, it was announced.

The police and judiciary must recognize the urgency and seriousness of the situation and take all necessary steps to ensure that justice is served. There is no room for delay or neglect of these cases.
