Alfa Romeo Castagna Vittoria is a candidate for the ugliest car in the world

(Patria) - The 1995 Alfa Romeo Castagna Vittoria is a legitimate candidate for the title of the ugliest car of all time.

Although it bears the badge of the iconic Italian company, this Alfa Romeo is not actually a real Alfa Romeo.

It was produced by the renowned Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Castagna. Fortunately, only one unit was produced.

The Castagna Vittoria was presented as a prototype at the 1995 Geneva Motor Show, and it was based on the 1987 Alfa Romeo 75.

However, the completely different exterior design has nothing to do with the 75 model, writes Autoklub.

The handmade body is made of aluminum, and the unusually designed rear end immediately catches the eye.

The two-seater interior is no less striking with its green leather and wood trim from the Vittoria brand.

The Italian "ugly duckling" is powered by a 3.0-liter 'Busso' V6 producing 255 hp and is paired with a five-speed manual transmission.

According to Car&Classic, the car is in "excellent condition as it has spent most of its life in storage," which is also evidenced by the fact that it has only 2,500 kilometers on the odometer.
The auction runs from November 15 to 22.
