Alešević offers 50,000 KM to Football Federation of BiH if they show five players registered in the Comet system

Anyone who knows anything about domestic football knows that clubs spare no expense to achieve the desired result.

Various malversations in the world of football occur even in much more organized countries. However, what is particularly worrying when it comes to BiH is the fact that clubs and individuals commit various types of fraud even when it comes to youth programs.

One of the cases that showed the state of domestic football is the case of falsifying player cards, i.e., registering players so that some players can play for two clubs in youth leagues, and there are also cases where clubs use players who are two or three years older to play for younger categories.

Due to media appearances in which he spoke about this problem, Nermin Alešević, a member of the assembly of NK Krajišnik from Velika Kladuša, was punished by the Football Federation of Una-Sana Canton with exclusion from the football organization and a fine of 2,000 KM.

The Disciplinary Committee justified his exclusion as a "violation of the code of conduct in the Football Federation of BiH".

Nermin Alešević subsequently had a document notarized in which he commits to paying 50,000 KM to the account of the Football Federation of BiH if someone shows him the players he problematized, i.e., those he claimed were in the so-called Comet system with false data. In short, Comet is an international advanced application system for recording all data and automating all processes related to the preparation, management, and monitoring of football competitions.

Alešević is one of the few in BiH who dared to speak out about the problems in the youth categories of our clubs.

- After more than 20 years in football, I received a suspension and a penalty for speaking openly about malversations - Alešević told the Patria agency.

A former junior player of Rudar Kakanj told the Patria agency about a case where, five years after he stopped playing for the junior team, he read in the newspaper that he was the scorer for Rudar in a youth league match.

- When I saw my name and surname in the newspaper, I thought it was a player with the same surname as me. However, I later realized that someone was playing under the registration of my name, which remained somewhere in the club's archives - emphasizes this former junior player of Rudar, who has completely withdrawn from football today.

He added that he doesn't understand how this could have happened, as it seems completely illogical for someone older than the prescribed age limit to play in the junior team under a player's name, but he checked with people at the club who confirmed that at that time there was no other player with the same name and surname at Rudar.

Although youth academies should primarily be responsible for developing new players and guiding them properly in terms of behavior, clubs spare no expense to achieve results, so cadet and junior matches are very often fixed.

The father of a junior player from Igman Konjic told NAP about a bizarre situation from a match between Igman and Velež Mostar played in Mostar.

- At the very beginning of the match, I don't think it was even the tenth minute, the referee showed my son a red card. The whole stadium was laughing because there was no contact, let alone a red card. After the match, the referee sent me an SMS message saying "brother, sorry, I know I made a mistake, but the order came from above that they had to win." I was shocked - says our interlocutor, who wished to remain anonymous because his son is still playing.

He adds that he is on good personal terms with the mentioned referee and does not hold a grudge against him for sending his son off, but he is extremely concerned about the direction domestic football is heading.
