(Patria) - Bosnia and Herzegovina will write another special page in its football history on Friday. Ahead of the match against Canada, with which the Dragons will open their appearance at the 2026 World Cup, the anthem of our country will be ceremonially performed before millions of viewers around the planet.
The honor of performing the anthem of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been given to the esteemed violinist Aleksandar Gajić, an artist who has been living and working in Canada for two decades. Born in Serbia, Gajić has gained international recognition during his rich career, and was at one time a member of the Belgrade Philharmonic.
The ceremonial moment of performing the anthems of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Canada will be part of the spectacular opening ceremony of the World Cup, an event that will be followed by football fans from all over the world.
