OPERATION CARTEL: Gordan Memija and Mustafa Selmanović detained, expensive Rolex being sought

(Patria) - Members of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton and SIPA have been conducting searches at several locations in Sarajevo and outside Sarajevo Canton since this morning.

The apartment of Gordan Memija, owner of a marketing agency and production company Foto Art, whose premises were also searched, has been searched.

The head of the Special Police Unit of the Federal Police Administration, Mustafa Selmanović, is also a target of the investigative authorities.

As Patria was unofficially told, an expensive Rolex watch is being sought during the searches.

The operation is being conducted by the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is linked to the drug cartel of Edin Gačanin Tito from Dubai.

Former and current special police officers of the Federal Police Administration, who are suspected of providing security for Gačanin during his stay in Sarajevo in 2016, have also been detained in the operation.

Some of them were also his security in Dubai.
