(Patria) - Based on orders from the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo and under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office, investigators from the State Investigation and Protection Agency, in cooperation with the Cantonal Anti-Corruption Office, this morning began implementing an operation codenamed "Incitat 2".
Searches are underway at the premises of the Ministry of Communal Affairs, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of the Canton. Documentation is being seized due to illegal construction on Bjelašnica. More information will be provided upon completion of the activities, the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office announced.
Unofficial information indicates that the operation also involves Minister Bojan Bošnjak (Our Party). He has held that position since November 15, 2023.
Incidentally, in the first Incitat operation, Ibro Berilo, the mayor of Trnovo, and several other individuals were arrested for illegal construction on Bjelašnica. Berilo was placed under restrictive measures, and his detention was lifted. Although he won a new mayoral mandate in the local elections, he has been banned from performing that duty.
