Ajdinović: In the last 24 hours, 43 people were sent to tents at the borders

Federal sanitary inspectors at border crossings, as of April 14, have issued a total of 25,119 decisions on placing passengers/persons under health supervision/restricted movement/isolation for a period of 14 days. For categories of persons exempted from the Order of the Federal Civil Protection Headquarters of April 10 - drivers, severely ill persons in medical transport, persons in border traffic and cross-border workers, 180 decisions on isolation measures were issued, according to the statement of the Director of the Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs (FUZIP) Anis Ajdinović.

Since the adoption of the Order of the Federal Civil Protection Headquarters introducing mandatory quarantine for all persons entering Bosnia and Herzegovina, federal sanitary inspectors have sent 376 persons in cross-border traffic to the tent area, where, after the Federal Ministry of Health issues a quarantine decision, they are taken over by the competent civil protection headquarters and transported to the designated quarantine location. Passenger traffic has slightly increased compared to the previous day, and on April 14, after sanitary control, 40 persons residing in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, two persons from the Republika Srpska, and one person from the Brčko District were sent to the tents.

Since the Order came into effect, lists with data for 45 persons have been sent for takeover by the Operational Center of the Civil Protection Administration of Republika Srpska, for the purpose of handling and implementing quarantine measures in the territory of Republika Srpska, as well as for two persons residing in the Brčko District who entered Bosnia and Herzegovina at border crossings in the Federation of BiH.

According to available data so far, federal inspectors' supervision and measures have covered a total of 3,123 persons - citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina residing in Republika Srpska who entered Bosnia and Herzegovina through border crossings in the Federation of BiH, and lists with names, surnames, and addresses of these persons have been promptly submitted to the Inspectorate of Republika Srpska for further action and implementation of isolation/quarantine measures. The same applies to 312 persons - citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina residing in the Brčko District, for whom data has been submitted to the Inspectorate of Brčko District.

The Inspectorate of Republika Srpska has submitted data for a total of 208 persons residing in the Federation of BiH, who entered Bosnia and Herzegovina through border crossings in the territory of Republika Srpska, and who are sent to quarantine by decision of the Federal Ministry of Health according to their place of residence in the Federation of BiH.

Today, measures from 762 isolation decisions issued by federal sanitary inspectors expire, and by yesterday, the mandatory 14-day isolation period had expired for a total of 18,570 persons.

The Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs informs persons who have been issued an isolation decision that the decision ceases to be valid upon the expiry of the prescribed 14-day isolation period. Namely, if the persons to whom isolation decisions have been issued have complied with the imposed measures, and have reported daily to the competent epidemiological service and have not developed any symptoms of infection by the end of the isolation period, health supervision is terminated after 14 days.

Following the adoption of the FBiH Government's Decision on measures for direct control of certain products and services of interest to FBiH, which stipulates the determination of margins in trade (calculated prices) for petroleum products, the on-duty team of the federal market inspectorate also carried out inspections of petrol stations and other retail outlets today. To date, eight inspections and two control inspections have been carried out, during which 10 violations were found, which entails the submission of 10 misdemeanor orders totaling 18,500 KM. Irregularities in the pricing method, i.e., violations of the FBiH Government's Decision, were observed at four supervised entities.

In the period from March 15 to April 15, 220 inspections and 173 control inspections were carried out at petrol stations, pharmacies, and other retail outlets. A total of 229 violations were found, which entails the issuance of a total of 229 misdemeanor orders totaling 357,950 KM. No irregularities in business operations were found at 173 supervised entities, meaning that citizens' complaints were unfounded, announced the Director of FUZIP, Anis Ajdinović.
