Ajdinović: Everything ready for the arrival of 54 BiH citizens from Sweden

(Patria) - The Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs continues to intensively implement measures to suppress the spread of coronavirus COVID-19 in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in accordance with the orders of competent authorities in BiH/FBiH.

Director of the Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs, Anis Ajdinović, states that since Sunday, March 15, following the decision on mandatory sanitary surveillance of all BiH citizens, federal inspectors from all 10 inspectorates have been deployed at 15 BiH border crossings in the FBiH area, where they conduct 24-hour sanitary control of passengers entering BiH/Federation of BiH in three shifts.

"According to available data so far, the surveillance and measures have covered a total of 2,590 individuals - BiH citizens residing in RS who entered BiH via border crossings located in the FBiH area, and the data - lists with names, surnames, and addresses of these individuals have been promptly submitted to the Inspectorate of Republika Srpska for further action and implementation of isolation measures. The same applies to 261 individuals - BiH citizens residing in the Brčko District area, for whom data has been submitted to the Inspectorate of Brčko District," Ajdinović states.

In cooperation with competent state, federal, and cantonal authorities, the Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs is preparing for the security and epidemiological care of 54 BiH citizens currently in Sweden, who will arrive in Sarajevo by a humanitarian flight from Stockholm planned for tomorrow (April 5).

"We do not know at this moment if this number will change. We are talking about 54 people, of whom seven or eight are from RS. All authorities have been notified. There are enough places in the Student Dormitory, and I hope everything will go smoothly, just like with the transfer of our citizens from Israel," said Ajdinović.

He also pointed out that they are in constant contact with the police of Una-Sana Canton and believes that the number of 2,000 migrants is exaggerated, and that the police are trying to bring them under control.

"All Ministries of Internal Affairs are truly making an effort to control the implementation of the orders and are fighting the migrant crisis. Migrants are being brought under control, and we will continue to be continuously available to Una-Sana Canton," added Ajdinović.

Regarding the control of price formation and movement in FBiH, the on-duty team of the federal market inspectorate conducted 7 inspections and 6 control inspections on April 4, 2020, in the area of Sarajevo Canton and Tuzla Canton, and issued 11 misdemeanor orders totaling 18,000.00 KM. Two entities were found to have increased prices from the List of Products subject to immediate price control, which is an integral part of the FBiH Government's Decision on prescribing immediate price control measures (fruits and vegetables).

In the period from March 15 to April 4, 2020, in the area of Sarajevo Canton and Tuzla Canton (from March 23, 2020), 140 inspections and 149 control inspections were carried out in pharmacies and other retail outlets. A total of 132 misdemeanor orders were issued totaling 219,350.00 KM. In 149 supervised entities, no irregularities in business operations were found, meaning that citizens' complaints were not substantiated.
