Ajdinović: Every passenger entering BiH will be confined for 14 to 28 days

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – Anis Ajdinović, Director of the Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs and member of the Federal Civil Protection Headquarters, stated that the Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs will control the prices of oil derivatives after the FBiH Government's decision to limit margins. He said that most gas stations have harmonized their prices in accordance with the FBiH Government's decision.

As of March 15, 24,537 decisions on placing passengers in mandatory 14-day isolation have been issued, with 2,915 citizens living in the RS area referred to the Inspectorate and 351 citizens of Brčko District.

Today, isolation measures expire for 712 citizens.

“If they have reported to their family doctors and their clinical condition has not changed, isolation is no longer valid for them, but I ask them to reduce their movement in accordance with the orders,” said Ajdinović.

He confirmed that in the past few days, 446 official records have been received from all ten cantons regarding individuals violating isolation measures.

“We now have 64 individuals for whom misdemeanor proceedings will be initiated before the competent courts,” said Ajdinović.

He explained the procedure after BiH citizens enter at border crossings. After border police officers take their documents, lists of passengers are compiled for whom the FBiH Minister of Health will issue decisions on mandatory quarantine in their cantons of residence.

“Until now, the Federal Sanitary Inspector had the authority to send a person into home isolation. With today's order, every person without a health examination will immediately be placed in quarantine determined by their place of residence. A health examination will be conducted at triage points in quarantine centers. All passengers will be held at border crossings until quarantine decisions are issued for them, and they will be escorted to their cantons under police escort,” said Ajdinović.

Ajdinović stated that decisions on quarantine facilities in several cantons should be made as soon as possible because the first citizens are already due to be accommodated.

“No citizen entering BiH will be able to move for the next 14 or 28 days. No citizen entering BiH will go into home isolation anymore, but into quarantine facilities,” Ajdinović emphasized.
