(patria) - Anis Ajdinović, Director of the Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs (FUIP), spoke today about the work of sanitary inspectors at border crossings.
"Our sanitary inspectors are deployed at 15 border crossings, and by the decision of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Sarajevo Airport will operate until March 30, and we are there until then as well. It is evident that we have a significantly smaller number of passengers entering BiH. We still have a large concentration at the Orašje and Kamensko border crossings.
Freight transport will be reduced at GP Bijača and Šamac. We have over 84 sanitary inspectors in the field, and besides passengers, we also control the hygienic correctness of all goods entering. We have a significant number of shipments entering BiH. So, there are foodstuffs, they are entering BiH, and the shelves will not be empty," said Ajdinović.
He noted that they have issued 14,821 decisions for isolation measures for those who entered BiH.
Regarding the order to publish the data of those violating isolation measures, Ajdinović explained that, based on the advice of the Personal Data Protection Agency, they will publish a minimum of data: first and last names, and place of residence.
"At this moment, we have 157 summary records of persons violating isolation measures. 33 persons reported that they did not violate isolation, but that there were certain communication issues. If it turns out to be true, we will publish the names, but misdemeanor proceedings will not be initiated," said Ajdinović.
He added that they have several market inspectors checking whether the Government's order to freeze all food prices since March 5 is being respected. 68 regular and 59 extraordinary inspections were carried out, and fines totaling KM 142,000 were issued.
