AGGRESSIVE AMONG THE BOOKS: Visitors in disbelief over brawl at the Sarajevo Book Fair

(Patria) - While some were searching for new titles, others, to general astonishment, witnessed a physical altercation.

Namely, at one of the exhibition stands of the Sarajevo Book Fair (Skenderija Center), a public order disturbance occurred when several people clashed. The physical fight happened suddenly, in the midst of the biggest crowd, causing panic and disbelief among the numerous visitors who were in the hall at that moment, reports Hayat.ba

While security guards and police were on their way, citizens themselves tried to bring the situation under control. The quarreling parties were calmed down by level-headed visitors, who separated the participants of the fight to prevent more serious consequences and allow the event to continue.

Currently, the exact reason that led to this escalation of violence at a place that celebrates culture and literature is unknown. Also, there is still no official information about the degree of injuries of the participants.
