Agency has nothing to do with candidate selection, contact the KS Ministry of Transport

 

The director of the FBiH Civil Service Agency, Sead Maslo, sent a new reaction to the editorial office of the Patria news agency regarding the text about the hiring of a civil servant in the Ministry of Transport of Sarajevo Canton, for whom information was obtained from reliable sources that it was rigged for Edin Išerić, a driver for the Sarajevo Canton Directorate of Roads, Adem Zolja.

In the editorial office's response to Maslo's first reaction, we asked him to publicly announce the confirmation of Edin Išerić's work experience, which he attached to the documentation. Although he knows that only the Agency has all the documentation of all candidates who applied for the competition of the KS Ministry of Transport for the position of Information Officer, because the Agency is responsible for conducting the competition procedure, Maslo once again "removed" all responsibility from himself in his new reaction.

We are publishing the reaction in its entirety:

-In your response to the reaction of the Civil Service Agency of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the tendentiously published content on the Patria portal, in which the director of the Agency is accused of being involved in the so-called rigging of a job for one of the candidates in the announced competition in the Cantonal Ministry of Transport, you again make claims about illegal actions in the competition procedure and make predictions that are known to "everyone" about who from
the registered candidates will be selected and appointed to the mentioned position in the Cantonal Ministry of Transport - Directorate of Roads, Sarajevo.

If that is the case, why don't you direct a question of that nature to the competent cantonal minister or director who will make the decision on appointing the candidate to the mentioned position?

All candidates are equal in the competition procedure and enjoy fair and honest treatment throughout the entire process. The Agency does not influence the final decision on the selection of candidates in any way, because by law, the head of the body that announced the competition for filling the vacant position is authorized to do so.

Therefore, this time too, the only correct address is the Cantonal Ministry of Transport or the Cantonal Directorate of Roads, and not the Civil Service Agency or its director.

Regarding your claims about the illegality of the work experience certificate for the candidate you mention, we direct you to submit a request for access to information, specifying the concrete data you are interested in, and your request will be resolved in accordance with the Law on Access to Information, states Maslo's reaction.

It will soon be known whether Edin Išerić has been hired as a civil servant in the KS Ministry of Transport. However, according to Maslo's instructions, despite our goodwill, we cannot seek an answer from the Ministry, because the competition with conditions tailored precisely for Išerić was written by the former minister Jusuf Bubica.
