Almir Aganspahić (19) after leaving FK Sarajevo last year and signing for NK Osijek, and from the Croatian club he left in December last year, will continue his career in Portugal, writes the Patria News Agency.
This talented striker, to whom many predicted a bright career while he was still a member of the FK Sarajevo Academy, has signed a 2.5-year contract with the Portuguese club Portimonense, which is fighting for promotion to the Portuguese First League.
After terminating his contract with Osijek, I got the opportunity to come to Portugal, specifically to Portimonense, which has a chance to enter the First League. I accepted the chance and I can say that I am happy and this is a great opportunity for me – says Aganspahić.
He added that they have excellent conditions and that the climate is also favorable, and that it is currently 20 degrees Celsius in Portugal.
– I am very satisfied and I will use this opportunity to show what I can do. We have already had matches and I am satisfied with the work done – added Aganspahić.
Aganspahić was also a member of the cadet national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and with his performances, he will strive to impress the selectors of BiH national teams in order to continue receiving call-ups and playing for the BiH national team.
