Seventeen-year-old Adnan Marić from Goražde will soon sign a contract with English Premier League team Swansea City, confirmed in an exclusive interview for the BH News Agency Patria (NAP), Adnan's father Nermin. The talented Adnan will initially play for Swansea's second team (U21). The exceptionally gifted midfielder is ready and, when the time comes, to play for the BiH national team.
- During this week and next, Adnan is expected to undergo medical examinations, after which the contract signing and first training sessions will follow – said Nermin.
The Marić family originates from Goražde. After the aggression on BiH, they left for Gothenburg, Sweden, in search of a better life. Adnan was born in Sweden in 1997, but his parents returned to Goražde shortly thereafter.

Three years later, the Marić family moved back to Gothenburg. Adnan started playing football at the age of six. And even then, he showed great talent. As a child, he went on trials at HSV, Utrecht, Fulham... And at 15, he signed his first professional contract with the Swedish club GAIS.
