94% of patients in China fully recovered from coronavirus

(Patria) – China's northwestern Shaanxi province recorded its first new cases of coronavirus infection on Tuesday after three 'clean' weeks.

These are 21 people, all Chinese citizens who Chinese authorities say imported the virus from abroad, as well as 7 new asymptomatic cases, also passengers who arrived on a commercial flight from Moscow to Beijing.

Before this increase, the number of new imported infections dropped to 4, as recorded on Monday, which is the lowest number since March 12, after Chinese authorities reduced international flights and banned foreign nationals from entering the country.  

Despite such measures, it was precisely Chinese citizens returning to China in the last two months who were diagnosed with the infection, which increased the number of infected people in the country.

A total of 82,758 cases have been infected in China, and according to official Beijing data, 4,632 people have died. A total of 8,791 people are under medical supervision due to contact with infected individuals, and 77,123 or 94% have recovered. According to worldometers.info data, there are currently 1,003 active cases in China.
