Zvornik: Man killed by sniper on balcony

A murder occurred in the center of Zvornik today around 9:30 AM. Čedo Đokić from Vlasenica, who lived in Zvornik, was killed, reports BN, relayed by Patria.

Đokić went out onto the terrace for coffee and someone most likely killed him with a sniper at that moment. This is believed to be a settling of scores within the criminal underworld, and the deceased Đokić was previously known to the police.

- I was in a nearby establishment and heard a loud bang. I didn't understand what was happening, and then I heard and saw a woman on one of the balconies wailing. Soon after, another man arrived who tried to provide first aid to the victim. That's all I saw and heard - says one of the eyewitnesses.

Strong police presence is at the scene.
