Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdić is staying in Oslo where he is attending the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide, reports the Patria News Agency.
At the Center for Studies of Holocaust and Religious Minorities, Zvizdić, together with the Director of the Center, Guri Hjeltnes, opened Tarih Samarah's exhibition “Abandoned in Srebrenica – 20th Anniversary“ and said that Srebrenica, even after 20 years, evokes immense sadness.
He also emphasized that in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the intention of Bosnians and Herzegovinians to continue building a common life and future has prevailed, and that no one should ever forget Srebrenica. He said that Srebrenica is a message to Europe and the entire civilized world to never again allow the suffering of the people of Srebrenica to be repeated.
The opening of the exhibition was also attended by Zumra Šehemerović, a Srebrenica survivor of the genocide, Amor Mašović and Anton Weiss – Wendt, head of the research team for the 20th anniversary of Srebrenica at the Center for Studies of Holocaust, and the Ambassador of BiH to Norway Emir Poljo, it was announced from the Council of Ministers of BiH.
