Zvizdić visits leading Chinese company Higer Bus in Suzhou

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdić visited the leading Chinese company Higer Bus in Suzhou today. This company is one of the fastest-growing bus manufacturers in China and is known for its innovations, research, and development, reports the Patria News Agency.

The company's director informed Chairman Zvizdić about the company's origins, its product range, and its technological innovations and advancements, stating that the company's goal is to bridge distances in the highest quality manner.

He said that Higer Bus Company ranks second in terms of the number of buses produced and first in exports outside of China. This firm is the only bus manufacturer to have received approval for export without prior quality inspection from Chinese authorities. Higer Bus became the first bus manufacturer to implement the ISO quality system in the Chinese automotive industry.

Higer Bus Company has also been present in BiH since 2007, and during this period, it has sold over 120 buses of various types and purposes to bus operators from Zenica, Prijedor, Međugorje, Gradiška, and Banja Luka, as well as to bus operators in the region. This firm also has its own service centers located in Zenica, Prijedor, and Banja Luka. Filip Kecman, Higer Bus Manager for Bosnia and Herzegovina, informed Chairman Zvizdić of these facts.

Chairman Zvizdić also toured the Suzhou Industrial Park today and learned about the development of the city where the Summit of Central and Eastern European Countries and China is being held. Suzhou began its development into a modern city of several million people only in 1994, and today it is home to over 10 million inhabitants. The giant industrial zone hosts around 30,000 companies from 90 countries worldwide.

This city is also a tourist gem of China's most populous province, Jiangsu, and holds the title of the most beautiful city in China. The Suzhou Industrial Park covers 70 square kilometers and was built in cooperation with Singapore. Tens of billions of dollars have been invested in the factory complexes.

Chairman Zvizdić will attend the IV Summit of Premiers of the People's Republic of China and Central and Eastern European Countries today.
