Zvizdić supports NATO exercise in Tuzla

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdić gave full support to the NATO exercise held in the Tuzla Canton area from September 24 to 29, hosted by Bosnia and Herzegovina, it was announced from the Council of Ministers of BiH.

This is the 17th NATO exercise on disaster management, and the first to be held in BiH. The Council of Ministers states that the fact that 1,300 people will participate in the exercise, including 600 international participants, ranks this exercise as the largest NATO exercise by scope since its inception.

Chairman Zvizdić said that the international character of this exercise contributes to strengthening the system of mutual coordination and is entirely in the interest of the citizens.

He also emphasized that the exchange of experiences in case of natural and other disasters will improve the performance of all services and enable a quality response to possible catastrophes.

This year's exercise is part of the Partnership for Peace project and is jointly organized by the Ministry of Security of BiH and the Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre, and includes the Federal and Cantonal Civil Protection Administrations, the Civil Protection Administration of Republika Srpska, the Public Security Department of Brčko District, the Armed Forces of BiH and other institutions and bodies at the BiH level and lower levels of government, it was stated from the Council of Ministers of BiH, reports NAP.
