Zvizdić: NATO process is extremely important for BiH, it means peace, economic development

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg held a meeting with the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdić, writes Patria.

The BiH Prime Minister emphasized that they had a constructive conversation and informed the NATO Secretary General about the activities realized so far on the path of NATO integration, and very clearly stated BiH's full commitment to European integration and, of course, accompanying NATO integration.

- BiH has managed to make significant progress in some areas, especially after the adoption of the Defense Review and the implementation plan of the Defense Review and the modernization plan of the BiH Armed Forces and its operability and capacity, which we have already shown by participating in NATO-controlled peacekeeping missions outside BiH, especially in Afghanistan.

We also touched upon another Tallinn condition that has not yet been fully met, and that is the registration of military property. We very clearly stated that this is a clear issue of the rule of law and respect for court rulings. The NATO process is extremely important for BiH; it means peace, stability, economic development, new investments, accelerated membership in the EU, and good cooperation with countries on a global level – said Zvizdić.
