Today's continuation of the constitutive session of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly was interrupted because it was not possible to form the Bosniak People's Club.
Kemal Ademović, deputy chair of the old Assembly convocation, who chaired the session, stated that DF representatives were not ready for this, writes the Patria news agency.
The continuation of this session has been scheduled for Friday.
DF representatives did not want to proceed with forming the Bosniak People's Club because the SDA did not sign the principles and goals of action with its coalition partner, the Democratic Front.
Incidentally, as Patria learns, this agreement was supposed to be signed last night, but Denis Zvizdić, president of the SDA Cantonal Committee Sarajevo, for unknown reasons did not appear at the pre-scheduled meeting of the two delegations.
As a reminder, last week the Democratic Front broke off negotiations with the SDA in the Sarajevo Canton and brought the coalition at all levels into question, due to the employment of SDA cadres in the interim period while negotiations on forming the government were ongoing.
After meetings between Bakir Izetbegović and Željko Komšić, the ball was lowered, and it was agreed to place a moratorium on all hirings and annul all previously announced competitions in the Sarajevo Canton, and to sign an agreement.
