(Patria) - If Iran's Fordow nuclear facility is bombed and the stored nuclear materials detonate, it will be a nuclear disaster in the Middle East, announced Mohamad Safa, a Lebanese diplomat and permanent representative of the PVA organization to the UN.
According to his words: within a 1-kilometer radius, radiation levels would be fatal (estimated fatalities: 94,870). Within a 5-kilometer radius, people would experience severe radiation sickness (estimated injuries: 760,250); within about a month, 15% of survivors will eventually die from cancer and organ failure as a result of exposure.
Up to 20 kilometers, the increased risk of cancer, birth defects, and third-degree burns extends through skin layers.

"Worst of all, winds could carry radioactive dust even to neighboring countries, causing long-term contamination of water and soil. Hundreds of thousands could be forced to evacuate for years. We are discussing human bodies - the bodies of men, women, and children - burned in an instant, followed by countless agonizing deaths in a long nuclear summer. Remember Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Remember Chernobyl. Remember the Bikini and Enewetak atolls in the Marshall Islands, people are still dying of cancer today! Is the world truly ready to face such consequences?", Safa wrote on X after reports that American bombers targeted Iran's nuclear facilities.
There is still no official information about radiation in Iran.
