Do We Know What We Are Drinking? Public Health Institute Analyzed Bottled Waters on the FBiH Market

(Patria) - Although BiH is a country rich in water as a natural resource, official data on water imports show that what we have is either not valued or not used enough. There are over 70 different bottled waters on the BiH market.

However, what is rarely discussed is the health safety of such water.

From October 2021 to September 2022, a monitoring of packaged natural drinking water samples was conducted.

Representatives of the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH will present the monitoring results to the public today. The impact of temperature conditions throughout all four seasons was monitored.

A total of 70 samples of natural mineral and natural spring waters from domestic producers and imported waters, taken from retail outlets in the Federation of BiH, were included in the monitoring.

Employees of the Health Ecology Service of the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, who participated in the monitoring, will speak about the analyses performed, their significance, and the obtained results.
