Abuse of office: Arrests of several individuals underway in Sarajevo Canton

An extensive police operation is underway in Sarajevo, ordered by the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of KS, writes Patria.

- Several individuals are being arrested for organized crime offenses related to abuse of office and authority and forgery of official documents - Azra Bavčić, spokesperson for the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, confirmed for Patria.

The Federal Police Administration, under the order of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of KS, is conducting searches at several locations across Sarajevo Canton. Several lawyers have been arrested.

The Federal Police Administration announced that after a multi-month investigation, the operational action "KURIR" began this morning under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton.

- The Intelligence-Security Agency of BiH, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton are providing significant assistance in the implementation of this operational action.
