Zenica-Doboj Canton covers 15 percent of BiH's total exports

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In the first nine months of 2019, the share of Zenica-Doboj Canton in the total exports of the Federation of BiH was 23 percent, and in the total exports of BiH 15 percent, which still ranks this canton in a leading position among cantons.

The potentials of this canton, which should be focused on in the future, are the metal processing and food sectors, the energy sector, paper, wood and furniture, as well as the textile, leather, clothing and footwear sectors, reminded the Chamber of Commerce of Zenica-Doboj Canton.

Import coverage by exports was 91 percent, and the highest was achieved in the wood, paper, furniture, and ores, metals and products sectors.

It was noted that exports also increased in the construction, machinery and tools, and chemical and pharmaceutical production sectors.
