Zenica: Exhibition of Game Consoles Opened

An exhibition of game consoles titled "Power up" was opened tonight at the Museum of the City of Zenica. This is the first exhibition of its kind in the region and it presents a brief history of video games, writes Patria.

The author of the exhibition is Alen Karamehić, who thanked Samir Lemeš, who sheltered children from the streets during the war and taught them programming. The author dedicated this exhibition to him.

- Surely faculties should focus more on programming and design, because people earn millions from games. In Slovenia, they made the world-famous game "Talking Tom", and in Croatia, they also make games, but we do nothing - stated Karamehić, adding that this is the first exhibition of its kind in the region.

The following consoles are exhibited: Atari 2600, ZX Spectrum, C64, Amstrad CPC 464, NES, Sega Mega Drive, SNES, Amiga 1200, PC, N64, PS1, and Sega Dreamcast. Handheld consoles include: Nintendo Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Sega
Game Gear, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, PSP, and PS Vita.

Visitors had the opportunity to play some of their favorite games on now-obsolete game consoles and travel back in time.
