Woman seriously wounded in shooting in Sarajevo neighborhood of Briješće

(Patria) - A shooting occurred last night in the Sarajevo neighborhood of Briješće, in which a woman with initials A.H. was wounded.

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of Sarajevo Canton (KS) Mersiha Novalić confirmed that four persons have been arrested.

Novalić stated that the use of firearms occurred last night around 9:30 PM, and that on that occasion the woman was seriously injured and subsequently transferred to the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS).

Due to the use of firearms, Novalić said, a man with initials B.H. was arrested, who is suspected of violent behavior, causing general danger, and inflicting serious bodily harm.

Additionally, three other persons with initials A.K., A.K., and S.K. were arrested on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of violent behavior.

All four arrested persons are being interrogated at the premises of the MUP of Sarajevo Canton.
