Woman from Živinice damaged parking meter and physically assaulted police officer in Sarajevo

(Patria) - Sarajevo police yesterday arrested a female individual identified as S.B., born in 1979 in Živinice, where she resides, on suspicion of committing the criminal offenses of damaging property and assaulting a public official.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton announced that the suspect damaged a technical payment device using physical force in a parking lot on Vrbanja Street, Centar Sarajevo municipality, and during the police intervention, inflicted minor bodily injuries on a police officer.

"The duty prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office was informed, and after the completion of the criminal investigation, the 44-year-old woman was released from official premises and detained at the Psychiatric Clinic in Sarajevo," stated the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton.
