
(Patria) - An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale struck Turkey this morning, Al Arabiya reports, citing EMSC.
According to The National, the epicenter of the tremor was near the city of Adana in the southern part of the country, not far from the border with Syria.

The tremor was recorded at a depth of 12 kilometers, EMSC reports. There are no reports of casualties so far.
