Railway accident near Zenica: Minor girl seriously injured by FBiH Railways work machine

(Patria) - A minor girl (15) sustained serious bodily injuries in a railway accident that occurred today around 1 PM in the Zenica settlement of Kovanići near Nemila.

According to initial information, the girl was hit by a work machine of the Railways of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina while moving along the tracks on her way back from school.

From the ZDK Ministry of Interior, they say that the girl was immediately transported to the Emergency Department of the Zenica Cantonal Hospital after the accident.

Given that Zenica doctors diagnosed her with severe head injuries, she was immediately rushed to the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS).

The police conducted an investigation at the scene of the accident and are working to clarify the circumstances of this serious incident.
