(Patria) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on the West to agree on an embargo on Russian oil as the war in Ukraine enters its sixth week.
In his latest address, Zelensky said Moscow earns so much money from oil exports that it does not have to take peace talks seriously and called on the democratic world to stay away from Russian oil.
Zelensky also said he would continue to insist that Russian banks be completely blocked from the international financial system.
"Some politicians still cannot decide how to limit the flow of oil dollars and oil euros to Russia so as not to endanger their own economies," Zelensky said.
"The only question is how many more Ukrainians, how many more Ukrainian women, the Russian army will have time to kill for you, certain politicians - and we know who you are - to find some determination."
