Joint attacks on Komšić by media circles gathered around HDZ and Bećirović's partners

It is completely clear that 2:1 in favor of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the BiH Presidency is the key battle of these elections, of course along with Croats from civic options in the House of Peoples, in order to finally break the dominance of HDZ BiH, which used its superiority and influence in the House of Peoples exclusively for blockades! All this under the assumption that Christian Schmidt, the High Representative in BiH, will not impose changes to the Election Law, while primarily respecting the will of the citizens, who demonstrated their wishes by protesting in front of the OHR building on several occasions.

And it is completely clear why HDZ and SNSD attack Željko Komšić with equal ferocity. They do not want to consider anything that is Bosnian or that hints at an arrangement in which everyone will be equal.

What was actually clearest even to any political layman, even before the start of the campaign, is that it is not important whether Bakir Izetbegović or Denis Bećirović wins, but whether the HDZ's policy in the Federation will finally be sent to the past.

Therefore, it must be clearly seen that Željko Komšić's opponent is not only and exclusively Borjana Krišto from HDZ.

The danger for the state of BiH is read on multiple levels, much more than against Komšić himself, especially when the initiative 'Million people for a civic BiH' is attacked by SBB, Naša stranka, NIP, (especially through their media channels) as well as other partners gathered around Denis Bećirović, the SDP candidate for member of the BiH Presidency, daily criticizing Komšić's project.

Bećirović stays on the sidelines, as does SDP, whose first and primary struggle should be the struggle for a civic BiH. But silence has always been a sign of approval, because supporting the Initiative 'Million people for a civic Bosnia and Herzegovina' means supporting BiH's path towards the European Union and the future. Everything else leads us into deep ethnodemocracy.

In this lies the danger for Bećirović himself, who does not even have the recognizable red color on his posters, but blue and yellow, and it seems that with the loss of red, the social democrat Bećirović has disappeared or is disappearing.

Although analysts assess that he had the potential to take a certain number of votes from Komšić as the campaign progresses, the situation is becoming complicated.

Given the ideologically colorful group of 11, it is clear that mutual conflicts are possible, which could ultimately take Bećirović's votes to Komšić.

However, the lethargy and conviction in Komšić's victory could determine the undecided to give their preference to Bećirović, so that we might eventually have two candidates from civic options.

Therefore, well-informed people ask whose votes Bećirović is actually fighting for if he is not ready to primarily defend his own political platform, and not those who supported him, but who are miles away from the idea of social democracy and are even openly on the side of HDZ.

I will remind you that Komšić was the one who decided to put his political career at risk by entering state government, loudly emphasizing two main reasons for this. The unblocking of BiH's NATO path, i.e., delivering the ANP as a condition for forming the BiH Council of Ministers, and stopping the ethnic division of BiH through HDZ's demands for changes to the Election Law, which was, after all, Komšić's election promise. In the end, this was fulfilled.

In the Presidency, we must have 2:1 for Bosnia and Herzegovina, and mathematics is relentless, unlike political acumen in which Bećirović remains silent, while his partners jointly stoke the fire against the idea of a civic BiH.
