16 people arrested due to Vučić's brother

Sixteen people have been detained in the investigation of identity theft of Andrej Vučić, brother of Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić, reports the Patria News Agency.

According to initial and unofficial information, they are suspected of abuse of office and money laundering and are currently being questioned by the police. After the questioning, it will be known whether they will be detained, writes Kurir.

As unofficially learned, the suspects established 7 phantom companies, including Asomakum, a company founded using a forged ID card in the name of Andrej Vučić. Some of the suspects were also responsible persons in the aforementioned Asomakum.

The suspects are accused of damaging the budget of Serbia in the amount of about 300,000 euros. Among those arrested is a former employee of the Tax Administration of New Belgrade.
