Due to high temperatures, postpone your trip to the morning or evening

Traffic on most roads in BiH is proceeding without significant delays and under favorable driving conditions. Due to high temperatures during the day, drivers are advised to plan longer journeys for the morning or evening hours, reports the Patria News Agency. 

Today at 8 AM, a cycling marathon with about 300 participants will start from Bihać towards Srebrenica. Cyclists will travel on the M-5 Bihać-Jajce section today, so drivers on this section are warned to drive cautiously and follow the instructions of authorized escort personnel.

Today, lighting renovation work is being carried out in the Jelašje tunnel on the M-17 Jablanica-Konjic section, so traffic is proceeding in one lane alternately.

Traffic is also slower on other sections where renovation works are active and temporary traffic signals are in place. 

We highlight the following routes: Tuzla-Bijeljina, Jajce-Banja Luka, Sarajevo-Kiseljak, Brod na Drini-GP Hum, Bosanski Brod-Odžak, and Čapljina-Stolac.

There are currently no long delays at border crossings. During the day, there is increased vehicle traffic at the GP Doljani, so drivers traveling towards the Makarska Riviera are advised to use the Zvirići, Bijača, Crveni Grm, and Orahovlje border crossings, while drivers traveling towards the Dubrovnik Riviera are advised to use the Čepikuće and Ivanica border crossings. We remind you that due to works in Croatia, traffic for heavy goods vehicles is prohibited at the Brčko-Gunja border crossing, according to BIHAMK.
