Minor arrested in Trebinje for terrorism, threatened high school massacre

(Patria) - Police officers of the Trebinje Police Department today handed over a minor from Bileća to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Republika Srpska, suspected of committing the criminal offense of "Terrorism".

According to our findings, the minor threatened a massacre in a high school via social media.

- Police officers obtained operational information that one or more individuals were preparing a terrorist act at a high school in Trebinje. Immediately upon learning this, the Special Department for Combating Corruption, Organized Crime, and the Most Severe Forms of Economic Crime was informed, under whose supervision certain investigative actions were carried out. The actions taken led us to an individual from Bileća suspected of committing the said criminal offense - said the Head of the Trebinje Police Department, Siniša Laketa, as reported by Trebinje.info.

Laketa stated that the individual was arrested last night at 7 PM and handed over to the superior prosecutor's office for further proceedings.
