Director of EPBiH Production Nevada Ikanović dismissed due to the situation in the mines

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The Government of FBiH has given its consent to the Supervisory Board of JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. Sarajevo to make a decision on the dismissal of Nevada Ikanović from the position of executive director for production at JP "Elektroprivreda BiH".

Namely, on 11.9.2019, the Supervisory Board informed the Government of FBiH that at its second extraordinary session, it considered the information from the general director of EPBiH and concluded to request the Government to withdraw its confidence in the executive director for production, due to the failure to take measures to accelerate the restructuring process of the mines, which falls under his jurisdiction, and which has led to a difficult situation in RMU Zenica and RMU Breza.

The Government also gave its prior consent for the appointment of Senad Sarajlić as acting executive director for production at EPBiH for a period of up to twelve months, or until the completion of the tender procedure.
