Traffic suspended on Sarajevo-Pale road due to traffic accident

(Patria) - Traffic has been suspended on the main road Sarajevo–Pale, in the village of Rogoušići, due to a traffic accident. The investigation is ongoing, so we ask drivers for patience and understanding. Traffic has been suspended since 1:30 PM. A long line of vehicles has formed.

Due to repair works on the guardrail along the main road Zenica-Doboj (on the Donja Vraca-Liješnica section) every day (except Sunday), from 9 AM to 5 PM, vehicles are moving slowly, with alternating traffic flow. Given that this is a busy section, longer queues of vehicles in both directions can be expected.

Works are underway on the A-1 motorway section Podlugovi-Sarajevo sjever, as well as on the main roads: Konjic-Jablanica (on the bridge near the Crnaja tunnel), Jablanica-Prozor (Mirci settlement), Semizovac-Olovo, Gacko-Foča (in Sastavci), and Jajce-Crna Rijeka.

Due to road repair works on the main road M-17.5 Jablanica-Blidinje (on the Jablanica-Kosne Luke section), passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons of total mass are moving slowly, with alternating traffic flow every day (except Sunday) from 7 AM to 5:30 PM. Traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons of total mass is still suspended.

There is increased traffic and long queues in both directions at the Gradiška border crossing, at the exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Orašje border crossing, and at the Brod border crossing on entry into our country. At other border crossings, waiting times for passenger vehicles are currently no longer than 10 to 30 minutes.

The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum permissible mass at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are being redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Trucks can use the Šepak border crossing from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 10 PM to 6 AM (on weekends, they can cross between 10 PM and 6 AM).
