Transport of explosive materials banned due to Ramadan Bayram

On the occasion of the Ramadan Bayram holiday, from today until Sunday at midnight, the transport of explosive materials is banned in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BIHAMK announced this morning.

It was also announced that predominantly wet roads and increased traffic near city centers characterize the traffic situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

''On the main road M-14.1 Donji Svilaj-Bosanski Brod (Struge settlement) due to demining works from 08:00 to 16:00, there will be half-hour traffic stops, with 15-minute vehicle passage.

Due to necessary works on the section of the main road M-16.1 Klašnice-Prnjavor (in Hrvaćani), at the intersection of the main road with the highway in the zone of the Crkvište viaduct, traffic has been stopped and redirected to a temporary bypass nearby.

On the main road M-18 Sarajevo-Foča, due to a larger landslide near Sijeračke Stijene, traffic is moving slowly on a temporarily widened section.

On the A-1 Lepenica-Tarčin section, due to works on a retaining wall, traffic is using the passing lane with a speed limit of 60 km/h. Due to landslide remediation on the A-1 Lepenica-Sarajevo north section, traffic near the Igman tunnel has been redirected to the passing lane, while at the Treševine location traffic is moving slowly.

Waiting times at border crossings are no longer than 30 minutes'', the BIHAMK statement reads.
