Due to fuel shortage, 18 ambulances out of service in the Gaza Strip

(Patria) - The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has announced that 18 ambulances, or 36 percent of their fleet in the Gaza Strip, have stopped operating due to a fuel shortage.

In a statement published on platform X, the organization stated that it has not received its daily share of fuel from the UN for more than a week.

This share previously covered only six percent of the operational capacity of ambulances, as the Israeli occupation prevented fuel from entering the Gaza Strip.

As a result, the PRCS warns of a reduction in its ability to provide emergency assistance in the coming days due to the fuel shortage, while the Israeli occupation continues to keep the Rafah border crossing closed for about 52 days.
